This month's speaker is Dr. Izabela Steflja, author of Women as War Criminals: Gender, Agency, and Justice, as well as a professor in the Department of Political Science. Her research interests lie at the intersection of of international development, comparative politics of the developing world, and international criminal law. She has conducted extensive fieldwork in East and Central Africa and the Balkans and her most recent book, Women as War Criminals, is out now from Stanford University Press.
