We are excited about this semester's Health, Racism, and Communication seminar series hosted by the Tulane Center of Excellence in Maternal and Child Health, Mary Amelia Women's Center, Tulane MCH Nutrition Leadership Training program, and The Skin You're In.

Dr. Earl Nupsius Benjamin-Robinson, Deputy Director of the Office of Health Equity, Community Partnerships, Louisiana Department of Health, will present on Resiliency: A Health Asset, on Thursday, November 19, at 1:00 pm CST. In this webinar he will present on:

  1. the role of resiliency in protecting health,
  2. ways of framing messages that build upon a community’s assets, and
  3. the importance of communication in addressing health disparities and systematic racism.
