Scholars Strategy Network (SSN) Chapter Networking Event: Headlined by Loyola President Tania Tetlow

Uptown Campus
Online

Members and friends of the New Orleans Chapter of Scholars Strategy Network (SSN), you are invited for an evening of networking, network mapping, and conversation. This event will be taking place virtually on December 1st, from 4-6 pm.

The evening will begin with an address by President Tetlow on how critical it is for faculty to do work that impacts the world and the importance of bringing that work into the classroom to benefit students.

Then, we will turn toward facilitating relationships and discuss areas for collaboration. In lieu of a traditional networking approach, this activity will focus on finding and growing our areas of interest so that we can encourage both social and work-driven collectives. Through a network mapping activity, we will:

• Identify areas of common interest and possible group initiatives/chapter subcommittees centered around your interests.

• Identify opportunities for collaboration among membership and friends of SSN, so that we can build relationships both amongst our members and with outside stakeholders.

• Better navigate which policy-relevant and other opportunities the chapter can respond to.

Be sure to reserve time on your schedule to attend this convening and resource mapping event for our local Scholars Strategy Network chapter.

Please register for the event via Eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/ssn-new-orleans-chapter-networking-event-registration-128035873745
