Introduction to the Udall and Truman Scholarships

Are you interested in careers in policy and/or public service? Do you have a particular interest in environmental awareness and protection? You will want to know about the Udall Scholarship (for leadership, public service, and commitment to issues related to the environment or to Native American nations) and the Harry S. Truman Scholarship (for leadership and future careers in politics & public service.) At this session we will introduce both awards, reviewing the nomination and application processes, and discussing what funders are looking for, what makes an ideal candidate, and how you can start to prepare now for opportunities that may change your future. Students of all years are encouraged to attend.
