Dean Thomas LaVeist, a renowned authority on health equity, recognized that Black Americans live sicker and die younger than any other ethnic group in the nation. In his documentary, he explores the complex reasons behind this disturbing phenomenon and how it’s rooted in racism. The film identifies the problem, explains the causes, and offers real solutions.
