Uptown CampusOn August 29, 2021, Hurricane Ida directly hit the Pointe-au-Chien Indian Tribe in Terrebonne and Lafourche parishes, causing extensive and catastrophic damage to their community. This destruction has left most community members without homes to return to. In this panel discussion, Drs. Albert, Cheruiyot, and Kelley will highlight current recovery initiatives they are involved in and discuss ways to ethically support the Pointe-au-Chien Indian Tribe (PACIT).
