Respair Production & Media co-founders Damon and Daniel facilitate a workshop exploring the unique importance of media in the fight for a liberatory future, and how journalists and media-makers can create a humanizing practice built on dialectical dialogue that supports radical transformation.

Participants gain hands-on tools to navigate power dynamics in their own media projects, classrooms, and community spaces; best practices for interviewing on-mic when discussing systems of harm and structural violence; and frameworks for building media projects that create sustainable and mutually beneficial collaboration with movement organizations and communities at the front lines of challenging systems of harm.

The Tulane community is welcome to join Damon and Daniel the following day, November 13, at StudioBe for a community screening of One Million Experiments, a podcast and film showcasing and exploring how we redefine and create safety in a world without police and prisons.
