We are excited to present the Culture Expert and the Food & Wine Expert on the Emmy-winning Netflix reboot of Queer Eye: Karamo Brown says that the key to his success is tapping into the many facets of his identity. Whether as an openly gay man, a black man, a single father, or psychotherapist, Karamo strategically utilizes the strengths of his different identities to achieve success, and teaches others to do the same.

At a young age Antoni spent countless hours in the kitchen watching his mother joyously cooking and bringing a world of culinary delights to life. Later, Antoni’s career launched and he became the personal chef to some of the upper echelons of New York and Brooklyn’s prominent citizens. These experiences and his degree in psychology influenced his underlying philosophy; food should tell a story and the heart and the stomach are inter-connected.
