Three teams of 15 Tulane Law School students will participate in a co-ed slowpitch softball league operated by PlayNOLA, a local community sports organizer. Games will be played on Tuesday nights at City Park Quad beginning 9/22. The season will last approximately 9 weeks. *Note re COVID-19 precautions: PlayNOLA has been operating softball leagues throughout the pandemic and has been cooperative with local, state, and federal laws and guidelines to ensure safe and responsible participation by all league members. A few measures that the organization is taking this fall are: cleaning/sanitizing dugouts before every game, requiring face masks for all people at City Quad Park softball fields who are not actively playing a game on one of the four fields, and they will have personnel on-site to ensure attendees are maintaining proper social distancing and mask usage, as well as not drinking alcohol.
