The competition will be taking place in person this year at Tulane University Law School - 6329 Freret St. New Orleans, LA 70118
(NOTE: this is subject to change, depending on COVID-19 restrictions, but at this time, we are planning for it to be an in-person competition).
This will be a 2-day event from Thursday, March 3rd, 2022 - Friday, March 4th, 2022 with Rounds 1 & 2 of the competition taking place on Thursday, March 3rd, and Round 3 and the Championship Round of the competition taking place on Friday, March 4th.

This competition is of a simulated a free agency negotiation of a real NBA player, using current collective bargaining agreement information. The competition provides participants with the opportunity to sharpen their negotiation skills, as well as their knowledge of NBA contracts. Teams are judged by prominent members in the industry, including experts from the NBA, ESPN and professional basketball teams, such as the Brooklyn Nets, the Los Angeles Lakers and the Philadelphia 76ers.
