Tulane University Marching Band performs in Krewe of Orpheus

Traditional Uptown Parade route - approximately 5 miles long and takes about 3.5 hours to complete. The parade’s starting point or “line up” is at the corner of Tchoupitoulas St & Napoleon Ave., then up Napoleon to St. Charles Avenue, then downtown to Canal St., up to Tchoupitoulas St. to Convention Center Blvd. where it enters the Convention Center. https://kreweoforpheus.com/parade/

Featuring TU Marching Band

The Tulane University Marching Band which debuted at Carnival 2006 with 26 members now fields almost 100 members, - musicians, dance team & colorguard - for Carnival season 2020.  The last parade performance this season by the TUMB is in Orpheus, first parading in 1994, which was co-founded, among others, by Tulane alumni Harry Connick Sr. & Jr. Orpheus was the first super Krewe with both male and female riders.
