This collaborative event between the LSU and Tulane APSA chapters is scheduled for April 22nd at an LSU event space. Submitted abstracts will be deidentified and scored using the AMA abstract grading rubric. This event will provide students with a platform to present their research and engage with peers and physician‑scientists across institutions. Accepted abstracts will be presented as oral talks, posters, or three‑minute theses. Each presentation will be evaluated by Tulane and LSU faculty and post‑doctoral researchers to offer constructive feedback and foster new research connections. The program will also feature a keynote speaker who will share their path to becoming a physician‑scientist. During the meeting, APSA LC board members will coordinate poster setup, introduce the keynote speaker, compile presentation scores, announce award recipients, and assist with event logistics. Prizes will be awarded to the top three presenters, and light refreshments will be provided for all attendees.
