The Witmeyer Dean's Colloquium invites distinguished alumni back to campus to discuss their careers and professions. 

The Speaker:

Julie Greenwald (NC ’91) is the Chairperson and COO of Atlantic Records. At Tulane, she majored in Political Science and English and has gone on to impact the music industry helping to launch the careers of artists such as Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, and Cardi B. She got her start as a music executive at Def Jam Recordings in 1992 after leaving Tulane and became President of The Island Def Jam Music Group in 2002.

In 2004, she was named President of Atlantic Records and in 2006, was promoted to Chairman and COO of Atlantic Records.

Ms. Greenwald will be in conversation with Tulane student Maggie LeStourgeon (Management, Marketing, and DMPC, '23) about her career and the impact Tulane has had on her success.
