Workshop: Audio Editing with Audacity (beginner level)

This workshop introduces the essential audio editing functions in Audacity, an open source (a.k.a. free) audio editing tool. Through demonstration and hands-on practice, attendees will learn functions they apply to create quality-sounding audio-based assignments. Functions covered include:
- adding multiple tracks
- removing background ambient noise
- creating fade ins and outs
- and more
Previous experience not required.
Required:
- personal laptop with Audacity installed in advance of the workshop
- if attending in person, headphones
Audacity is an open source software free for anyone to download and install. Audacity is compatible with Windows and MacOS, and Linux operating systems.
