The Celia Scott Weatherhead School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine at Tulane University (WSPH) Office of Advising and Student Success will be holding a presentation for our Summer and Fall 2026 Admits, Before You Begin Tulane WSPH: Tips From Your Academic Advising Team.

This presentation will overview important topics to assist you in beginning your first semester in the WSPH with confidence and clarity. Students will have an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the session.

Topics of discussion will include:

  • Overviews: WSPH Advising Structure, Class Registration Policies, Appropriate Contacts (i.e. Financial Aid, Accounts Receivable, Technology Issues, etc.), Degree Audit & Transcript Previews
  • Walkthroughs: Gibson, Canvas, Schedule of Classes, University Catalog, Academic Calendar, etc.
  • FAQs: ID (Splash) Cards, Student Email Listserv, Preferred Name Identification, & more
  • Post Session Action Items to Prep for New Student Orientation & The Beginning of Spring 2025
  • Question & Answer Opportunities

This presentation will not be focused on course selection.
