A free adaptation of Bertolt Brecht's famous play, "The Threepenny Opera" (directed by G.W. Pabst, 1931) is one of the first German sound films, and an entertaining one at that - an irreverent musical with the catchy songs of Kurt Weill and a star-studded cast. This screening is in partnership with the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, as part of the Germany on Campus event series.
The Flowerree Symposia provide a recurring forum to showcase Tulane University’s role in addressing climate change and its acute impacts in coastal regions such as Southern Louisiana. The symposia aim to highlight local dimensions of a global crisis and at the same time continually focus Tulane’s faculty and students as well as community stakeholders on how we can contribute to an evidence-based conversation about solutions.

The Tulane community is welcome to join the Latine/x Faculty/Staff Affinity Group, SPHTM EDI, SPHTM OSE, and SALUD in the viewing of "A Million Miles Away," the film depicting Jose Hernandez's path from a migrant farm worker to an engineer/astronaut.
