It’s almost here! The School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine annual awards ceremony takes place Friday, May 15, at 1pm CST Online. The event will be held on the school’s YouTube channel. The link to the video premiere will appear on our Youtube channel on Friday Morning. We’ll also send out the specific link by Friday morning via email and share the link on all of our school's social media platforms. 

Alpha Sigma Lambda is a national organization recognizing the special achievements of adults who accomplish academic excellence while facing competing interests of home and work.  Tulane’s Alpha Sigma Lambda chapter was chartered in 1962, when the school was known as University College. 

The New Orleans induction ceremony will be held digitally on May 14, 2020 at 6:00 pm.

The SPHTM Awards Ceremony honors the academic achievements of our public health masters and doctoral students (the undergraduate public health students are honored thru the Newcomb-Tulane Senior Awards Ceremony held at McAlister Auditorium same day).  SPHTM awardees are notified by their department, of who will be receiving awards.  Dress is casual; no regalia required.  No tickets required.  All are welcome.  Ceremony will be held at the Tidewater Building, 1440 Canal St.

Parisite Skatepark is a 2019 Rudy Bruner Award Silver Medal winner!

The 2019 Rudy Bruner Award Silver Medal festivities will take place on October 29, 2019. It's time to celebrate and we want to see you!

The Rudy Bruner Foundation will present the Rudy Bruner Award Silver Medal to Transitional Spaces and the Albert & Tina Small Center for Collaborative Design for their collaborative work on Parisite Skatepark. Free and open to the public with snacks provided.

Please join us for the ribbon cutting ceremony and dedication of the Décou-Labat Residences as we honor the contributions individuals from diverse backgrounds have made to the Tulane community.

The Board of Tulane approved naming Willow Residences, currently designated for the street on which they sit, in honor of the first African American undergraduates to earn degrees from Newcomb and Tulane, respectively: Deidre Dumas Labat (NC ’66, G ’69) and Reynold T. Décou (A&S ’67, ’79).

The Tulane School of Science and Engineering celebrates the accomplishments of Science and Engineering Alumni by bestowing honors at this annual celebration each spring.   All science and engineering alumni are invited to attend.  

The Phi Beta Kappa induction ceremony for new members will be Thursday, May 14, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Qatar Ballroom (LBC 212).  Friends and family of the new members are welcome to attend.  There will be a reception following the ceremony.

The Taylor Student Showcase is a dynamic event to celebrate the CI Social Venture Accelerator graduates and Taylor award winners for 2018-2019. During the event, we have will simultaneous presentations from CI graduates and you will have a chance to “choose your own adventure” and hear from select social ventures that interest you. Open to everyone. Dinner will be served.
