Three Minute Thesis Competition

The Three Minute Thesis is a professional and highly engaging international research competition. On November 18, Tulane graduate students from a variety of disciplines will have only 3 minutes to present their thesis! Their presentations will be judged by both members of the Tulane community and the public. There will also be a People's Choice award for the audience's favorite presentation. Please join us to support our graduate students and vote for your favorite thesis! Attendance is free and open to the public.

Novel Tech Challenge Kickoff Reception

You are cordially invited to attend the 6th annual Novel Tech Challenge Kickoff reception on Monday, September 9th, at 5:30 p.m. in Boggs 122.  We will be introducing this year’s challenge and helping students form teams to build new technologies over the 2019-20 academic year.  The top three student teams formed will be offered automatic entry into this year’s competition.

Robotics Software Challenge

Join Tulane’s School of Professional Advancement for the inaugural Robotics Software Challenge! Powered by Automation Anywhere Software, participants will team up and build software robots used to perform industry-relevant autonomous tasks. Top teams will be awarded prizes based on the best application of the robotics software. Lunch will be served!

5th Annual Tulane Professional Football Negotiation Competition

The Professional Football Negotiation Competition, run by the Tulane Sports Law Society, is a simulated contract negotiation using real life scenarios and actual upcoming NFL free agents.  The competition will provide participants with the opportunity to sharpen their negotiation skills as well as their knowledge of actual NFL contracts.  In order to simulate an actual negotiation, the participants will receive a set of confidential objectives that serve as guidelines for the negotiation.  Participants will either represent the fo

Annual International Baseball Arbitration Competition

The Tulane International Baseball Arbitration Competition, run by the Tulane Sports Law Society, is a simulated salary arbitration competition modeled closely on the procedures used by Major League Baseball (MLB). Like most law school moot court competitions, TIBAC’s main goal is to provide participants with the opportunity to sharpen their oral and written advocacy skills. However, the competition is unique in that it allows law students to sharpen these skills within the specialized context of MLB's salary arbitration proceedings.
