In this talk, Dr. Klesse historically contextualizes feminist critiques of monogamy to highlight how recent feminist-queer critiques move away from focusing only on hetero-patriarchal marriage and romantic love, and instead shift attention to intersectional and structural power relations along the lines of race, gender, class, and sexuality.

Music Rising at Tulane presents In Alignment, an educational workshop on healing and advocacy. Dr. Veronica Lewis will discuss how to self-advocate in the physician's office and the artists/healers Spirit McIntyre and Janet Sula Evans-Mshakamari will share self-care practices that participants can use to nurture and sustain their bodies and spirits.
This seminar will increase student motivation, produce higher-quality student work, and encourage student responsibility and academic integrity, all while making assessment less stressful for students and simplifying the grading process for themselves.
