Dr. Michael White Thursday Jazz Series
The Newcomb Department of Music furthers its mission of introducing students to New Orleans culture with the Thursday Jazz Series (formerly Jazz at the Rat), a series of concerts held in the Dixon Annex Recital Hall. Hosted and curated by Black American Music faculty, each live performance features accomplished New Orleans musicians and visiting artists, accompanied by students and faculty from Tulane's Black American Music program.
