New students, let us help you get acclimated to Tulane!

Get Connected is a 4-week semi-structured workshop series for students who recently joined the Tulane University family including Spring Scholars, international students and transfer students. Focus will be given on helping students acclimate to the University and the city of New Orleans, connect with campus partners who can assist students to adjust to their new environment, and creating a space for engagement with other new students. Join us as we collectively work to build a community of continued support.

Drop in each Thursday and develop a habit of self care with a weekly chair massage.

Come stop by our outdoor table! Our TUPHEs will lead students through activities focused on safer drinking strategies to help reduce risk during Mardi Gras. Students will also learn how and when to intervene if they find themselves or a peer in a risky situation.

After engaging with these activities, students will pick up their limited-edition Mardi Gras fanny pack containing parade essentials!

Join the Tulane University Potter Alliance Club as we play a fun game of Harry Potter trivia with cookies!

Come speak with representatives from the School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine about degree programs and the application process! Come for refreshments and many fun prizes!

Talk TU Us happens the first Wednesday of the month, every month of the semester. All lunches happen in the same room and at the same time.

We all aren’t going out every night. Looking for something more? Find out ways to engage intellectually at Tulane, tell us about your experience and meet like-minded people. If you’re considering transferring, this is a safe space to give us feedback. We can support you in whatever decision you make.

Come watch "The Big Game" and enjoy a bowl of tasty chili in LBC Nalty Commons!

Dr. Gil will give a talk in 115 Newcomb Hall at 4PM following his workshop, “Rapid Response Research Projects - Nimble Tents for a Mobilized Humanities” https://tulane.campuslabs.com/engage/event/5315106

Ling Lunch is a meeting time for linguistics students in the linguistics program and other related programs and departments to talk and learn more about linguistics related topics in an informal setting over lunch. Ling Lunch also provides a time for graduate students and faculty who are often very busy to make time to connect and socialize.

Tulane Water Polo will be scrimmaging with Silver Wave in preparation for our Mardi Gras Tournament.
