Come join Newcomb-Tulane College in honoring the Class of 2020 Senior Awards winners.
In affiliation with the American Jewish Historical Society Biennial Scholars' Conference, the Grant Center for the American Jewish Experience at Tulane University invites you to a special program featuring John Boutté and Wendell Brunious (of the Preservation Hall Jazz Band). The event will be hosted by Tulane faculty member and musician Glenn Hartman (of the Klezmer All-Stars).
All are invited to engage with "Take P(art)," an interactive showcase highlighting the ability of the arts to engage in social impact. Featuring ten new art projects created by students in the course, The Arts and Social Impact, this pop-up exhibition will take place from 10 am to 11:30 am in Woodward Way outside the Newcomb Art Museum in the Woldenberg Art Center. Drop by to explore these community-engaged art pieces in person, chat with students involved in the course, and enjoy free snacks!
