Bella Mathes is the Assistant Marketing Coordinator at Broadmoor LLC in New Orleans where she works as a writer, graphic designer, and video editor. She graduated from Tulane in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in French and a SLAM minor.

Painted Canvas Collab

Please join NOMAS Tulane for an in-person collaborative painting project. We will be painting our NOMAS TU logo onto a large 3' x 4' canvas and we'll include motifs and text from topics covered during the NOMA conference. At the end of the event, participants will be able to keep their acrylic paint sets from Winsor & Newton for free! Our final product will be displayed at the NQ Pavilions that currently house the architecture school.

NOMAS + TWIA Concrete Workshop

Join NOMAS and TWIA for a concrete workshop! We will have all the materials you will need to create formwork and pour concrete. This is a great opportunity to work with concrete and learn the basics of it as a building material and as an exploration in texture. Planters, sculptures, abstract objects, and desk organizers are all possible objects to be cast in concrete for this event. The possibilities concrete are close to endless, it just takes a little practice and we are here to help!

 

 

Revit, Resume, and Firm Application Worksho

Alum Caroline Zimmermann will host a professional workshop going over Revit, resumes, and the firm application process. She is a Tulane Architecture alum who is currently working at Bonstra and Haresign Architects in Washington, D.C. as an architectural designer specializing in historic renovation and multi-family design and is additionally on the hiring team. She is an associate AIA member. With Caroline's background and current positions, she can provide a basic introduction to Revit along with advice on resumes and insight to the firm application process.
