WaveStarter Info Session

Are you looking for ways to raise money online to support your project or organization? Look no further than WaveStarter, Tulane’s crowdfunding platform. Student organizations, departments, alumni, faculty and staff can apply to raise money on WaveStarter for projects and initiatives that support the vision, mission and core values of the university. WaveStarter is managed by the Office of Advancement, and projects are selected by a committee that includes representatives from Tower and Crescent, Alumni Relations, Student Affairs and Advancement.
WaveStarter project applications are accepted during three rounds each school year. The second deadline for the 2019-20 school year will be December 11th, for projects launching in February and in March. Once a project is completed, all funds raised will be transferred to the project team within 8 weeks.
All project teams applying for WaveStarter projects are required to attend a mandatory Information Session with two executive board members present!
