The healthcare community stands in solidarity and support of black lives and all who have fallen victim to racial inequality—we want to encourage everyone in our community to stand with us!

On Thursday, June 11 at noon medical students and healthcare professionals will join to stand in solidarity against social injustice. Our chaplain, Father William Terry, will offer prayers for justice and for those who continue to suffer as a result of racism. This peaceful protest will take place on Tulane Ave between the Tulane School of Medicine Hutchinson building and Tulane hospital. We will spread out on the sidewalks on both sides of the street and stand in silence in memory of those who have been victimized at the hands of racial inequality. If you would like to stand with us, we encourage you to join us.

PLEASE BRING A FACE COVERING AND PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING!
