Mindfulness/Meditation Discussion with Dr. Jinny Tavee

Please join the Compassion in Action club as we welcome Dr. Jinny Tavee for a discussion on mindfulness and meditation. Dr. Tavee is a neuromuscular physician with a special interest in neuropathy, neurosarcoidosis and integrative holistic medicine. She will discuss her involvement with clinical studies on the effects of meditation in neurological disorders, as well as her experiences with leading meditation retreats for patients, physicians, and U.S. Marines returning from the Gulf War through the Wounded Warriors program. She will also give tips for those interested in starting a regular meditation routine.
