Advancing Anti-Racist Research Scholarship with Communities
WHO: This workshop will be facilitated by Dr. Samantha Francois, Assistant Professor, School of Social Work, Sonja Bilger Romanowski Early Career Professor, and Executive Director of the Violence Prevention Institute.
Dr. Anneliese Singh, Associate Provost for Diversity and Faculty Development and Chief Diversity Officer, will offer words of introduction.
WHAT: This workshop will discuss anti-racist practices as they apply to research design, execution, data translation, and dissemination. Scholars from all disciplines are welcome to attend. Participants are asked to read pages 9-13 of the report linked here prior to the workshop.
