Sexual Assault Awareness Month 4/28 Tabling!

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. For SAPHE’s final event of this month, we will be hosting a table on McAlister where students can come and learn more about Denim Day. This annual, national day of awareness encourages participants to wear jeans or other denim clothing as symbols of believing survivors and not blaming them for sexual assault based on what they were wearing at the time. Individuals wearing denim will get a special sticker, and students can participate in a chalking activity where they can write statements on McAlister showing their support for survivors of sexual violence.
