Join us on April 22nd at 5:30pm for a talk with Dr. Eugene Richardson on his recently published book, Epidemic Illusions: On the Coloniality of Global Public Health. Dr. Richardson is an infectious disease specialist and anthropologist focused on biosocial approaches to epidemic disease prevention, containment, and treatment throughout Africa. The subject of this talk will cover the colonial roots of epidemiology and its role in global inequities.
