Rinaldo Walcott: "The Long Emancipation" Public Lecture

The Africana Studies Program at Tulane presents author Rinaldo Walcott's lecture on his book The Long Emancipation: Moving Toward Black Freedom on Wednesday October 20th at 6 pm in the Stone Auditorium, Woldenberg Art Center. A reception will follow in Woodward Way where hors d'oeuvres will be served. 

This event is part of the Black Studies Book Club, a new ongoing series sponsored by the Africana Studies Program, featuring scholars whose recent publications have shifted the conversation in our field. It is open to the public. Please note that Tulane ID, proof of vaccination, or a COVID negative PCR test within 72 hours of the event will be required for admittance
