Learn to Hack

We will explain the basics of a process and its memory components (i.e., how a stack works), introduce C functions like strcpy() and memcpy() that give way to buffer overflow attacks, and explain what a buffer overflow attack is. We will have a simple example program and show students how to perform this exploit.
