"Improving Sexual Health Equity Among Women and Girls in Louisiana: A Social Ecological Approach"

Dr. Melissa Goldin Evans pursues reproductive health equity through public health research, programming, and teaching. She earned her PhD in Community Health from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, School of Public Health and her Masters in Public Health from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine (SPHTM). She recently finished her Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Mary Amelia Center for Women’s Health Equity Research (MAC) in the SPHTM Department of Social, Behavioral, and Population Sciences. She is now a Research Scientist at MAC where she is involved in several maternal and child health research projects that span the life-course. Dr. Evans also teaches graduate and undergraduate courses at Tulane University.
