This workshop will focus on an overview of the IRB process, guidelines and regulations, and offer tips and tricks, dos and don'ts, and best practices. Real comments with requests for edits will be used as examples. In addition, specific issues like consent, which come up for scholars who conduct community-based participatory research, will be addressed.
