UNICEF Showcase/Benefit - Titled HER

This event encompasses putting together a showcase in celebration of gender empowerment month in correlation with Tulane for UNICEF, as one of the main themes UNICEF incorporates is Gender Empowerment for girls. We have been coordinating to try to give a platform for many different talents, and especially female performers/artists. This will include dance teams here at Tulane, and other singers and talent. (Some dance teams include TuJazbaa, DDC, Club Ace)

The date for this showcase will be April 9th, and it will be held from 5-7 pm, on that Saturday, as we are working to optimize maximum potential of attendees, and we were looking to hold this in McAlister Auditorium.

This event altogether will comprise of performances from various members along with presentations of information from UNICEF about the theme of the event in between. We are in hope that attendees will want to donate to UNICEF at the conclusion of the event!
