The History of Medicine Society is thrilled to announce that after a zooming year of virtual events we will host in-person the 69th Annual B. Bernard Weinstein Memorial Lecture & Banquet on Saturday, April 23rd, 6:00pm-9:00pm at The Parlor at the Pontchartrain, a beautiful venue tucked behind the iconic Pontchartrain Hotel on St. Charles Avenue.

The banquet's keynote speaker will be our very own R. Shane Tubbs, PhD, MS, PA-C, Professor, Department of Neurosurgery, Clinical Neuroscience Research Center, Tulane University School of MedicineHe is an editor for the 41st and 42nd editions of Gray’s Anatomy, the 5th through 7th editions of Netter’s Atlas of Human Anatomy and is the editor-in-chief of the journal Clinical Anatomy, which is the official journal of the American and British Associations of Clinical Anatomists. Dr. Tubbs was also recently named chair of the Federative International Programme on Anatomical Terminologies. We are honored to host the most prolific author of this field.

Dinner and open bar will be provided by the famed Jack Rose, complete with a seafood buffet (see menu attached). Musical entertainment will be provided by Tulane medical students.
