Newcomb Senate is a time-honored and well-established body of students with the resources to effect radical change on campus, but it's taking on a new look. At its core, Newcomb Senate will serve as a means to petition Tulane Administration (as one of its longest-existing and most recognizable coalitions of students), utilize funding to enact initiatives for furthering gender equity each semester, engage with New Orleans community organizations, facilitate open dialogues among Tulane students, and represent the Newcomb College Institute to students of both the present and past.
