Sexualities and Sexual Cultures Q&A with Lisa Wade

Come join TUPHE, Dr. Lisa Wade, professor of sociology and author of American Hookup, and the Sexualities and Sexual Cultures interns to learn about hookup culture on campus and bust myths surrounding sex! We will start our event with a brief presentation by Dr. Wade, discussing her research findings about hookup culture at Tulane, followed by an introduction of the Sexualities and Sexual Cultures interns, who will talk about their development of the @tusexsci Instagram project! The rest of the event will be open for a TUPHE-moderated group Q&A, and there will be opportunities to ask questions in real-time and anonymously through an online form!  

This event aligns with Sex Week's mission to provide comprehensive sex education, as a talk about hookup culture hones in on an aspect of sexuality that we often don't learn about anywhere else.
