Psi Chi Guest Speaker Series: Dr. Julie Markant

Join us in welcoming Dr. Julie Markant, a professor at Tulane, as she shares her exciting research linking psychology and neuroscience! Dr. Markant leads the Learning and Development Lab, where she focuses on the cognitive development of attention and learning in infancy and early childhood. Her research utilizes a variety of methods, including behavioral studies, genetic analyses, MRI, and fNRIS technology. One of her key projects, which explores how infants' attention to their caregivers changes over their first year of life, was even featured on FOX 8 WVUE!
