Beyond Boundaries: Recognizing Research

During Welcome Week, the "Recognizing Research" event will feature a panel where faculty involved in research will share their insights. Faculty from various disciplines, ranging from engineering to neuroscience, will discuss how research is conducted at a university, funding opportunities, qualities they look for in student researchers, and the responsibilities of student researchers. The one-hour panel will be followed by a thirty-minute presentation on student funding and research opportunities. Catering will be provided. The event aims to help students learn about research early in their academic careers, enhancing their success in becoming competitive applicants for research opportunities and securing funding.
