That's not my Sexual History, that's my Oeuvre!: Borrowing Words from Art, Music, & Geology to Enhance Our Language for Love, Sex, and Relationships

The language we have for talking and thinking about romantic and sexual relationships can feel limiting or negative. What do you call someone you have only just started dating? Does a so-called “situationship” have to be bad? During this informal, interactive workshop, we will adapt words from geology and the art world to describe love, sex, and relationships. We will focus on countercultural, LGBTQ, and college-age relationships, and aim to build a more inclusive, positive relationship vocabulary. No background knowledge needed!
