Funded Opportunities for Foreign Language Study Abroad

Are you interested in becoming conversational or fluent in a foreign language? Interested in improving communication and intercultural competency?  Foreign language study enhances one's opportunities in government, business, medicine, law, technology, military, industry, marketing, and virtually every professional field.  Tulane’s Office of Undergraduate Research and Fellowship (URAF) will introduce a host of funded opportunities for linguistic and cultural immersion including the Boren, CLS, DAAD CBYX, LUCE, Blakemore, Gilman, and Fulbright. We will review the application processes for fellowships, and explore what funders are looking for, what makes an ideal candidate, and how you can start to prepare now for opportunities that may change your future. Students of all years are encouraged to attend.
