Sexual Violence and Restorative Justice: A Discussion of Dilemmas and Possibilities

Join us for a critical conversation on the challenges and possibilities of implementing restorative justice processes in response to sexual violence. This panel brings together Tulane and community leaders to explore collective, community-centered approaches to harm that emphasize truth-telling, responsibility, and healing over punitive measures. Learn about restorative justice efforts on college campuses and how these alternative justice mechanisms may offer more inclusive solutions for survivors. We will also discuss broader sexual violence prevention and response strategies for both campus and community settings.
