Sexual Autonomy & Empowerment Fair

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, a time dedicated to education, prevention, and advocacy for survivors and those impacted by sexual violence. In recognition of this, the Sexual Autonomy & Empowerment Fair aims to create a supportive space for the downtown Tulane community to access vital resources, engage in meaningful discussions, and reclaim their autonomy through knowledge and connection.

This interactive fair will take place on April 11th, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, featuring a range of informational booths, workshops, and activities designed to empower individuals with the tools to understand, assert, and protect their rights.

Event Highlights and Resources:

  • Know Your Rights Workshop – A session based on the Crime Survivors Guidebook to provide legal knowledge and advocacy tools.
  • Counseling Connection Services – Featuring various on-campus and local organizations offering support for survivors.
  • Survivor's Safe Space – A powerful exhibit space for those who wish to share their experiences, fostering community, healing, and awareness.
  • Consent & Healthy Relationships – Interactive discussions on building safe, informed, and respectful connections.
