Sexual Violence in Unique Community Groups

SAPHE, in collaboration with Asian American Student Union, South Asian Association of Tulane, and Tulane University Filipino Student Association will host a peer-to-peer education workshop focused on sexual violence within different community groups. This session aims to address the barriers that have historically hindered the promotion of sexual violence education within these communities. Participants will learn about the unique challenges survivors of unique community groups face and explore best practices for offering sensitive support. The workshop will also highlight important community considerations when working to empower and uplift survivors.
