A Taste of Latin America

Stop by to talk to the Office of Study Abroad and CIEE Study Abroad about programs in Latin America and sample a snack from the region! CIEE has study abroad programs in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Puerto Rico.

Here are some additional details to have on your radar that we hope will make Latin America more accessible to Tulane students:

-Leading Change in Latin America Student Fellowship – 100 exceptional student influencers will be selected to spend a full semester abroad on one of CIEE’s Latin American semester programs in Fall 2025 and Spring 2026. Each Tulane student will be awarded a full housing scholarship and receive a $2,000 living stipend. Tulane has two students awarded this fellowship for Fall 2025 and we’re hoping for even more in the Spring!

-Trailblazer Grant – guaranteed flight voucher worth up to $1,500 to any student accepted into a new CIEE program. We have lots of programs that qualify in Latin America!

-São Paulo, Brazil – CIEE is opening a new program center here in Spring 2026 and the above-mentioned scholarships apply. We had a Rio Center pre-pandemic and are excited to be reopening programs in Brazil; a great opportunity for students studying Portuguese!

-San Juan, Puerto Rico – CIEE is opening a new program center here in Spring 2026 as well, the above-mentioned scholarships apply.
