New Orleans Mock Trial Regional

This event is a regional mock trial tournament set to be hosted here in New Orleans, by Tulane Mock Trial. Nationally, undergraduate mock trial is run by AMTA (the American Mock Trial Association whose website you can find here). This year, Tulane Mock Trial has been chosen to host a regional for the second year in a row. This tournament will take place on February 28th and March 1st at the Hale Boggs Federal Building. Roughly 23 teams from 14 different schools will be in attendance, including two of our own teams. Our students have been working hard to organize this event by recruiting potential sponsors and judges from our local community. Additionally, we have gotten permission to host this event at the Courthouse for the Eastern District of Louisiana, a very valuable experience. This event will not require RSO funding and all tournament related costs will be covered by the American Mock Trial Association.
