The School of Architecture and Built Environment will host a release event and lecture for the latest edition of “The ReView” book, the school’s annual publication which showcases student and faculty work, research, teaching methods and professional projects. The release will feature a lecture and discussion with architect and alumna Jing Liu (M.Arch'04) on Monday, Oct. 19, at 5:15 p.m. in Thomson Hall (Room 202) in Richardson Memorial Hall.

This year's series of events is organized around the theme "Emergency: Planing and Adaptation," which also serves as the foundation for our forthcoming fourth issue of The ReView book to be released in Fall 2026 by Actar Publishers. As architects, planners, designers, and developers confront increasingly urgent environmental, social, and economic challenges, we are bringing together leaders whose work expands our understanding of how cities can adapt while creating vibrant and resilient communities.

These conversations bring together leading practitioners, scholars, and advocates who are working to ensure that the built environment serves everyone. Whether you're a student, professional, or community member interested in how design can create positive change, we invite you to join these important discussions. AIA CEUs will be available for all lectures.
