Ever wondered how to play bocce, one of Italy’s most beloved traditional games? Come out to the Glazer Gardens Bocce Court for a fun, hands-on introduction led by members of the New Orleans Italian-American Bocce Club!
You’ll learn the basics of the game, pick up some Italian bocce terminology, hear a little about its history and place in Italian and Italian-American culture—and, most importantly, get on the court and play!

🎯 No experience necessary. No Italian required. Come as you are and give bocce a try!

This event is open to all members of the Tulane community, whether you study Italian, love games and sports, are curious about Italian culture, or just want to try something different between classes.
Stop by anytime between 10 and noon, roll a few bocce, and see why Italians have been playing this game for generations!
