Intro Design Lantern Competition

Students in DESG 1105 Intro to Design & Creative Thinking will display their pumpkin lanterns in front of RMH, featuring carved interpretations of abstract artworks. Student TAs will help set up for the event from 12-1pm, with cinder blocks, wooden planks, and signage. From 1–3pm students will bring their carved pumpkins, enjoy pizza and music, photograph their lanterns, and carve some extra pumpkins as well! Student TAs will help clean up after the event from 3–4pm. The pumpkins will remain on display in front of RMH through Wednesday Oct 28.

We are arranging for Schmelly's to collect the pumpkins for composting on Thursday Oct 29, and the teaching team (Saas and TAs) will collect the boards, cinder blocks, and signage that same day.
