The Longest Table brings together more than 500 Tulanians around one table for a shared meal and meaningful conversation. By connecting students, faculty, staff, and university leaders, the event celebrates the power of conversation to build relationships and strengthen community. Together, we create a visible and intentional gathering space on campus.

The Longest Table is hosted by the Lavin-Bernick Center for University Life (LBC), Division of Student Affairs, Center for Public Service, and Newcomb Institute, in collaboration with Tulane Global. Event sponsors include the Office of the President, Tulane University Libraries, Newcomb-Tulane College, Office of Academic Excellence and Opportunity (AEO), Phyllis M. Taylor Center for Social Innovation and Design Thinking, Title IX Office/All in, Connolly Alexander Institute for Data Science (CAIDS), Office of Undergraduate Admissions, School of Law, and School of Social Work.
